1995 Taught computer instrumentation design course: as a Teaching Assistant in the undergraduate Sophomore level Computer Instrumentation design course under Professor Cool. The course involves programming computers to interface with various experimental devices with ADC's and DAC's. In addition the course involves scientific writing.
1996-7 Redesigned the web page for the
Kyoto Center for Japanese studies in Japan. Involved use of scanning and graphics software in addition to HTML.
1997 Rewrote Laser control program into G (LABVIEW), a graphical programming language. The program involved getting data via Time of Flight Mass Spectra. The oscilloscope, FL 3002 Laser, and TOFMS & laser detectors or the Burleigh Wavemeter were connected via GPIB buses and a DAQ using IEEE 488 protocols.
1997-8 Worked on the Cornell Study Abroad information team to spread information
about study abroad to Cornell students. My focus was on opportunities to study in Japan. To do this I created a web site repository.
1998 Taught Computer Instrumentation design course, except this time, C++ and Matlab were used instead of Pascal and Gnu-plot, extending my teaching, and programming abilities.
1998 Put the final touches on debugging and revising the LABVIEW laser control program for a particular experiment, again under Professor Cool at Cornell University.
